Custom jewelry starts with a sketch or concept, which is converted into a 3D CAD model. CAD lets you see the ring from every angle, adjust proportions and preview stones before any metal is used. This stage is where design choices such as halo settings, band styles and metal finishes are finalized.
After approval, a wax or resin model is printed and cast in the chosen metal, usually via lost-wax casting. Stones are then set by hand, and the piece is polished, plated if needed and inspected. High quality factories combine casting with hand finishing, rhodium plating and strict quality control for a clean final product.
| Stage | Activity | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Design | Sketch and CAD modeling | Visualize and refine |
| Modeling | 3D print wax model | Create master form |
| Casting | Lost-wax metal casting | Form the metal |
| Setting | Hand stone setting | Secure gemstones |
| Finishing | Polish and plating | Final shine and quality |
